Blue sky day - at last!

Wonderful to wake up this morning to a bue sky, the last 2 days have been miserable and very cold, we actually had a flurry of snow yesterday. Decided to take a walk out with Bracken while the going was good, I did not want to miss this sunshine. Most of the pictures I took were of the blue sky and this is one of them taken as I approached the back lane of the village.
Came back to tackle the parsnip(s?). It (they?) have been turned into soup, had some for lunch and it was very good. (Can't do links yet but yesterday's blip will explain the cryptic comment.)
Off to the swimming baths this afternoon. Trying to improve fitness ready for more challenging walking and who knows, I may even get my bike out!
