Water Off A Seagull's Back

A rainy day today and I had no pressing reason to go out, so it is a 'view from the window' blip day.

Several puddles have formed as usual on the not-quite-flat roof, while on the chimney of the much higher building across the back lane is a watchful seagull.

Many more seagulls live on the rooftops all round us, and their so distinctive calls are plain to hear as I type this.
