Flying High

Full zoom, handheld at 5.20 pm in March. Clear blue sky, sun setting.

I was walking round Crossgates near Scarborough enjoying the song of numerous kinds of birds and hoping to get a blip of some of them.

Got an OK shot of two starlings, looking and sounding a bit anxious. Where were all the other starlings?

Got a shaky shot of a cheeky male blackbird who flew off just as I pressed the shutter, despite him having patiently watched me get the camera out, turn it on, set it and zoom in.

Then got this. And liked it. Hope you do too.
