We're There!

The A170 road from Thirsk to Scarborough meanders it's leisurely way past glorious countryside, over hills and down dales, and through numerous villages and a couple of small towns.

A scenic route but progress is unhurried, at best.

West Ayton and East Ayton seem like just two more villages. Then up one final hill to the top of the ridge, round a z-bend, and there it is.

The first glimpse of the sea and Scarborough and of course The Castle.
