New & Old

Our local mercado is filled with dozens of fruits and vegetables, many which I do not recognized. Today as I was shopping my favorite fruit vendor, I found these old, over-ripe bananas placed right next to a selection of new, fresh ones. I was on a mission, and was trying to avoid the rain, so I didn't stick around long enough to see which were more popular, the new or the old. As I continue to age, I certainly want to think "old" ones become more important (and I'm starting to look more and more like the old, spotted bananas).
