Vendor in the Rain

The rare spate of rain we are receiving has pretty much cleared the beach of tourists and locals alike, but it doesn't mean that the vendors call it a day. They just find a way to keep dry, like the young woman shown here selling fried snacks, as they walk up and down Playa La Ropa. Our forecast calls for a week of intermittent clouds (which is very unusual this time of year), but the heaviest rain was to be over today. I am glad that we live down here and are not just visiting - hoping for a week of Mexican sunshine. We can easily wait out the cloudy weather.
