... "Extremely" ... fond of suet!

There was a squirrel frenzy in the woods this morning, squirrels dashing to and fro, lots of chattering, etc. Extreme Sylvia (who can be identified by a little chink in her right ear) finally had enough of the squirreliness in the woods and came to the open-air Bistro for a proper meal. She favors the peanut suet that the Chef (moi) makes. She even prefers it to Seymour's Extreme Trail Mix with the hot pepper flakes. As she was dining, a little snow flurry came through, making for lovely adornment to her already fine fur coat. She is quite resplendent, isn't she?

We had a dusting of snow last night, just enough to cover the lawn with a bit of white, now nearly melted. My kind of snow! Off to our neighbor's house for an early Valentine's dinner tonight. My contribution is a bottle of Prosecco and some home-made red-velvet cupcakes! Yes, I even lightened 'em up by using stevia and replacing part of the oil with pumpkin. That means I can eat two!
