Well, doesn't leak now.

Today was doing third hole in the roof and installing a gable fan.

Two problems, hole in roof turned out to be where 3 deck pieces meet with very little reinforcing underneath. So quickly relaid that and moved on.

Gable fan acquired but not installed. I was going to use the third roof hole as a ventilation point (it's near the gable fan opening), but that didn't happen and we had a gloriously warm (hot) day - so there was no way I was working in the loft today.

So we we're about to crack on with the job i've been wanting to do for a month but had to wait to get more important things done. The rear porch.

Essentially, it's rotten. Totally rotted through and the whole lot needs to come down, and then rebuilt. By me! Didn't get as far as I wanted as it was a bit sturdier than expected but I'll have this down by end of play tomorrow. With any luck, by Friday I might have this all back together again.
