Delft blue.
Another blue sky morning and temperatures hovering around -6. Watched the press conference with the rest of the country to see of the 11 cities skating tour is on, no decision yet, the agony continues! Took the 20 minute drive to Delft, it's such an attractive place and world famous of course for the blue and white pottery it produces. Monday most of the shops are closed all morning and don't open till 1pm. We enjoyed walking round the town square and I was able to take even more photos! Had a super frothy coffee at one of the several cafes and looked out towards the church and fabulous old buildings across the square. Headed back to the shops as we had a present to buy for A-M's daughter who has a birthday this week. A nice relaxing afternoon before I had to leave at 4.15 to catch the train for Schiphol.
Everything on time, brilliant. Back to the delights of the UK and more snow.
