Ten

After staying overnight last night with my friend in Strathaven, we travelled down to Manchester today (picking up another friend en-route at Gretna).

Once in Manchester, we met up with 8 more friends from up and down the country. Two of them were the same ladies as in this blip and the reason was the same as back then too. Three of the ladies there today I've never met before, but feel like I know them well regardless. All of them are amazing people with a lot of determination and courage who got me through some very difficult years.

Today though, they were a bad influence on me! Cocktails before noon anyone? Oh go on then! A lovely lunch followed before 3 of them sadly had to go home. The rest of us were all staying over though so we headed to Harvey Nichols for yet more cocktails, back to the hotel for a quick change, then on to a chinese for an amazing dinner. By 11.30pm we were still in the restaurant, full as could be and ready for bed. Our plans for dancing to cheesey music were abandoned, we admitted defeat and we back to the hotel and off to sleep.
