A good day!

I had my closing meeting today for Voluntario Global :( It definitely made me realise how much I have enjoyed my time here!

My day was kind of productive today in that instead of going for a tour of a palace and seeing an amazing view I decided to go a run, it was about time my training started. I actually kinda enjoyed it, although I'm still sort of iffy about the Great North Run..

Tonight the rain came again, but this time it was the scariest storm I have ever experienced. The thunder sounded like explosions going off and the lightening lit up the whole room. To make it all that little bit spookier we had a power cut in one end of the house!

Some of the girls cooked pasta for everyone, but since I scoffed my leftover spagbol after my run I stupidly walked milesss to get a pizza instead, in the pouring down rain, and this is how my pizza box turned out ^ Surprisingly the pizza survived :)

Some people headed out but since it's only a few days until Rio and we have an eventful weekend ahead April, Andrew and I decided to sit in, watch stupid videos and make truffles.
