Rain, rain go to Spain...
Today, after managing to not be the last one out of our room to wake, I did some productive work in the morning. Naomi came round at 3 and we went for lunch together at the chino buffet. It was a nice day and so we went to sit in the plaza. Before long the pigeons had surrounded us and scared us back to the house to eat. We had planned to do a tour of a palace which sits opposite the volunteer house, but as it was closed today we decided to do some retail therapy instead.
It was so so nice to catch up with Naomi, as always, but the 3 hours we had just wasn't enough, as always!
As soon as I got back to the house the rain began and didn't stop for the rest of the night. I didn't mind so much, as it's so warm at the moment that I'm actually enjoying the coldness of the rain. I spent the rest of my evening chatting to the new Brazilian volunteer Lorena and watching strange Spanish programmes with her.
