A Day Downtown

I had a really great day today exploring more of the city with my roommate Michot and Martina, who is also an exchange student at the UNAM.

We found an extremely nice park which is great, because if you live in this city you need places where you can calm down, lie on the grass, and lose yourself looking into the sky.

By accident I ended up being in a superdangerous place with Martina today as my Mexican friends told me later, but the funny thing is that I actually thought that place was quite interesting;-)

After wandering around the very lovely district of Coyoacan (I can easily get myself lost walking around for hours since there is so much to see, smell, here, taste, and feel in this place) we checked out the Tequila & Mezcal Museum and had a few drinks while listenting to the Mariachis play at Garibaldi square ;-)

What was also really interesting was listening to Michot talk about Uzbekistan and I am glad he shared so many interesting stories with me. He also invited me to visit him and his family whenever I want, and I have a feeling I should take advantage od that offer - Tashkent is now officially on my mad list of places to travel ;-)
