Spiffing way with brussel sprouts
Sliced into slivers and marinated seems an effective to reduce their devilish potency. Today I've simply added some almonds, red onion and dates.
This means I've finished my ration of small green fists for the time being - hurrah. Not ever my first choice of veg., but impossible to thrown them away, once acquired. They stored very well in the boot of the car all month; I'm sure if they were in the fridge, they'd gone off before now. Secretly, I must have wanted to eat them all along.
