Favourite pair of Staffies!

Bought one of them a long time ago as a singleton and he was the biggest of my dogs. Many years later I was offered another one by a friend who was trying to 'cull' some of her many ornaments. I said I would have him if he formed a pair with my exisiting dog. Bingo - he did and they stand together perfectly matched. Hint of desperation though in taking this shot. Looking out of the window it is raining. Hard to believe after a blue sky morning filled with sunshine.
The afternoon was saved when a neighbour came round to deliver a brace of pheasants and stayed for a cup of tea. Not inviting out there at all so I shall bury myself in some cookery books for an hour so I can do justice to those pheasants at the weekend.
