Bird in a tree!

Drove out to a woodland area with plenty of gushing water, great combination. Still dull but just being out and about is wonderful. Noticed this tree and the bird sculpted by nature. Is it an owl or a peregrine? We thought it was a fantastic piece of natural artwork so here it is!
Left Cumbria after lunch, always a wrench. Note to self, more walking in the Lakes this year. A big thank you for a memorable couple of days.
