On Golden Pond

Firstly my thanks to everyone who viewed, starred or gave hearts to my journal yesterday. Your greetings on my blipday were just magic - and prooof of how wonderful and supportive this community is.

This was taken about 1 in the afternoon and I have no idea why the pond was this colour. It was almost blinding it was so golden - maybe it was the end of a rainbow I coudn't see.

The pond looked quite normal when I started taking photos of the dragonfiles on the waterlillies but when I moved about a foot to one side this is the effect the sun created. No dragonflies in this shot unfortunately, but hey, you can't have everything.

I started to imagine Katharine Hepburn, the Fondas and some loons would appear.
