Tasman Bay

Until a couple of days ago (when a friend hit 100 blips and it made me wonder how many times I'd repeated this process), I had no idea that I was about to hit the 500. Lucky for me today I managed to get a photo or two that I'm happy enough to call my 500th.

This was taken at about 11 this morning, looking out over Haulashore Island towards Kaiteriteri on the other side of the bay. The only thing I have done to this photo is straighten the horizon by about 2 millimetres. The colour is exactly as it came from my camera - taken with a polarising filter.

The bay was dead calm, yet those clouds streaked above it. Creates a sense of ...... something.
