Beautiful Day

It has been absolutely fab here today - sunshine, gorgeous blue skies with the odd fluffy white cloud. Most unseasonal for January but I'm really not complaining.

It was definitely much to nice a day to stay indoors doing housework so after relieving the guilt I knew I would feel later if I didn't actually do anything, I cleaned the bathroom, downstairs loo, tidied the kitchen, dining room and hobbit hole and then headed out for a wander with the hound. Three and a half miles, an hour & a half later, we finally made it home, feet & paws dragging. It was absolutely bloody lovely & I enjoyed every minute of it though.

Then, within half an hour of getting in, the sky tuurned grey and it became very chilly - just in time for the school run. Never mind, we are all in now and once dinner is done, I will be having a very long hot soak in a very hot bubble bath as due to the combination of the housework & the long walk, I am aching like an achey thing. Well worth it I think :)
