Day one trekking

An easy day today. About 12km all on slight gradients. We saw the amazing performance of our porters who carrying enormous back packs compared to their size ran off up the hill ahead of us and then had a 3 course lunch prepared for us when we got into our lunch time camp. After that it was a bit further along the road with some beautiful vistas before evening camp at about 1600 and some free time before our 3 course evening meal.

Early to bed tonight for an early start and a 7km in distance and 1000m climb hike. The hardest day coming up by all accounts.
