Waterlily

Not as busy as expected at the gardens today. There was a cruise ship in but only 350 passengers and 298 staff so we hardly noticed their presence.

Lots of dragonflies flitting around above the lake. So fast that they are impossible to capture in frame with my wee point and shoot so resolved to just enjoy their antics and forget trying to will them to stop a while on a lily pad or petal for my photographic satisfaction.

These scarlet waterlilies are stunning and prolific this year. Could not go past them for today's blip...
