Peace Reflected...

Busy day, very warm weather, but thankfully no fires to contend with. As far as we know our family in Australia are all OK and safe. I have many friends living in various fire areas around Melbourne and Sydney and have them in my thoughts. Most of them are well used to the extremes to be coped with in summer and are prepared as much as they can be.

I was living in Melbourne when the Ash Wednesday fires took lives and property and although we were not threatened in the city the smell of smoke and the embers in the night sky kept us all aware of the possibilities that could have been. Scary stuff. Pray for rain everyone.....
