Lily
Family visiting from Sydney returned home today. It has been a lovely visit made extra special by meeting the new members of our clan.
So our days resume normal transmission for a few weeks and then we are off to a family wedding at the end of February. One of my nephews and his bride to be have decided to have their wedding in Arrowtown.
I grew up in Central Otago and remember Queenstown and Arrowtown as quaint little villages...but they are not so today. Fortunately all the hustle and bustle and development in the area has not destroyed all the beauty of that region. I am looking forward to gazing awe-struck again on the reflections in Lake Hayes and feel the majesty of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.
This lily is a prolific bloomer and it's heady scent fills every nook and cranny of our home. I do not know it's name but think it is an oriental Lily!
