Roadtrip

"We can't know what's going to happen. We can just try to figure it out as we go along - Roger Sullivan"

I love the feeling of driving along a quiet road in the middle of nowhere, and not being entirely sure where I'm heading or what lies around the next corner. The above quote sums up the last few days, and will be very apt this year, as there are many daunting but exciting things on the horizon that Jon and I can only plan so much for - the rest we'll just have to take as it comes!

The last few days have been a wonderful whirlwind - it seems to have gone so fast. We hired a car, without any concrete plans, and drove. We ventured south and to the very, very north - the most northerly point of the British mainland, in fact!

This photo was taken somewhere in amongst the Leadhills in South Lanarkshire - day one of touring around. And what a wonderful day it was. This really is a stunning country! :)
