Holidays

I have been incredibly lazy since the Christmas weekend (so, for well over a week). I have just felt like totally chilling; having time to myself to not do anything, if that's what I fancy. So, I have barely done anything.

I've taken the time to have a really good nitty-gritty clean of the flat, and have seen friends quite often and spent a lot of time with Jon and his brothers. Some days I haven't fancied leaving the house, so I've just chilled and watched movies and spent time with Jon.

That also means that I haven't been out to take photos some days. I'm okay with that just now - I love taking photos and I love blipfoto, but for now, I'm happy just kicking back and not feeling any pressure to take a picture a day.

Or even when I have been out and taken pictures, I've not uploaded them, because I haven't felt like it.

This picture was taken yesterday when Jon's mum and I took a trip to Direlton and took a walk along the beach. It was incredibly windy and cold (not as windy as today though - wasn't it madness?!), but lovely, clear blue skies. Was such a nice afternoon and great to do something different and go somewhere new.

It's been so good, just doing whatever I want to do, whenever I want to do it. Of course, this means that I have a rather long list of emails to reply to and a few photos to upload - but it's all back to work soon and I'm going to make the most of being lazy!
