First exhibition

The Littleborough Gallery was the place where I had my first public exhibition of photographs, in Summer 2010. It was also where I sold my first framed print, within a few hours of it going on sale. I was thrilled, not because of the money I made - after printing and framing costs and commission I made very little - but for the expression of admiration and confidence in my work. Someone paid money to own something I had created.

Sadly, today the gallery is closing because the retail situation is dire and doesn't show any signs of improving in the near future. So I have just been to collect the one remaining unsold framed photograph.
