Flying on a Brisk Breeze

Moody day...

Weather wise it was warm with a stiff breeze and the threat of rain from dark clouds gathered over the peninsula hills that amounted to nought. Pity as we are having the driest summer since the 1980's. Back yard so dry the soil is pulling away from the paths and cracking in areas most walked upon.

Mother at the hairdresser this morning so I took the canine for a walk before doing a bit of shopping. Home via a coffee after collecting Mother from the salon then out alone to drive up to Wilson Drive and enjoy the view for a while.....and take images with Blip in mind.

Road trip to Moeraki and the boulders tomorrow so early to bed and early to rise...!!
