Colours of Sea Spume

Enjoyable day spent cruising around Moeraki village and Moeraki Boulders. Have a plethora of images to choose from for today's blip of course and have found it quite hard to pick one.

Should it be an image of the biggest earwig I have seen - 6cm long and .5cm wide with wicked pincers behind and a Jurassic head steering the way OR myriad images of my great-nephew, Matua, discovering seaweed, wet sand, dry sand, taste of sand, being inside a boulder with and without Mum, chasing Dad, laughing at a sea buoy hanging from a rafter enticing him to push it and the buoy coming back and hitting him in the face...something to laugh at...and what is that creature behind the wire fence that slides its tongue right around my hand - yuck! with a giggle......

...and so on and so forth.

Finally decided to post this image of the colours of sea spume.

the tongue belonged to a red deer paddocked near the Moeraki Boulders carpark. The deer are used to people coming up to them with food and that was what the deer was looking for when she licked Matua's hand
