These sheep amuse me. I pass them at breakfast time. In order to get to the hay they are often head butting each other out of the way, some sheep are standing on top of others, and always there are some on the outskirts just watching - guarding.

The weather continues to batter us from all sides and on my drive out to Queensferry I was amazed by the number of trees which had been ripped up and the mayhem they had caused in their wake. I began to feel anxious driving past any that were swaying. On my return journey I passed one which had clearly not long fallen. Thankfully onto a shed and not the house beside it. There were a number of people standing around just looking. Very little you can do to move a tree with your bare hands!
