Flocking to Join

About half an hour out of Broken Hill (on our way towards Sydney) I stopped the car to photograph a tree with a flock of birds roosting in it. While I was stuffing about with my camera another flock flew in to join them.

It's not the clearest but it's also a sight I might not see again so it wins the blip race today - unless I see something more amazing further down the road. We also saw a pair of eagles that played cat and mouse with us for a while. I didn't get anything good but I will put my best in my folio as soon as I get the chance.

We are sitting here in Subway in Cobar having a late lunch and contemplating getting back on the road - planning to go as far as Nyngan today although we've made good time so we may end up going further. Parkes and possibly Bathurst tomorrow - a bit of a drive around the Bathurst track planned, just because that's what you do in Bathurst.
