Australian Colours

Another scenery shot. I took something very similar to this on my first day here but chose a different blip.

Today has been one of those 'great' ones. We drove from Dubbo to Bathurst via Parkes and Orange - purely because Teacherlady had always wanted to see 'the dish' and I'd always wanted to go to Orange. The dish was interesting and lived up to expectation.

On the way from there to Orange we saw a sign to Borenore Caves and on the spur of the moment turned into the side road. The limestone caves were a short walk into the bush and were really interesting. When we came out we sat down at the picnic tables and a pair of kookaburras came and visited us! I took many many photos but in the end am blipping the dried grass and windmill scene because it is so stereotypically Australian.

The kookaburra and a few others are in my blipfolio if you are interested.
