Mummy Roo

I had every intention of blipping some Australian outback scenery tonight, and I did take a number of photos that I was happy with. But...

Today we drove from Mildura to Broken Hill. This evening we went up to the Broken Hill Sculpture Park and on our way back down this Mum and her baby were feeding on the side of the road. She was more interested in eating than she was in me, so I was able to open the car door, get out my camera and gradually walk towards her. At first I didn't realise she had the baby in her pouch, it wasn't until the wee one moved that I registered it.

I've never seen a real life kangaroo with a baby in its pouch, so this just had to be my blip.
