Flooded

Today we went up to Mount Aspiring Station, from where we had a pretty close up view of Rob Roy glacier. Fantastic! However, not very photogenic (not when I'm wielding the camera anyway). So here is a photo taken on the way back of an arm of Lake Wanaka, just above Glendhu Bay. These willows ususally have dry feet, and they can't actually swim. The water has definitely breached its usual channels.
