Sparkling Solstice

These sparkles aren't in fact festive decorations - this is a close up of the bowl that every night the jewellery I wear every day gets deposited into, including my wedding and engagement rings - the amethyst is my birth stone, and we had the ring made specially. The wedding ring was my Mum's - we got married on the same day, at the same time, with the same wedding ring as her and my Dad. So - precious adornments.

Today was the shortest day - so Happy Solstice one and all!
