Marking the tide...

First real day of my hols - with only a few workie emails to deal with first thing. Then it was into full festive frenzy mode, doing the "big food shop" along with about half the population of the town where I live.

But then got some wandering time down at the beach, which was windswept, wet and deserted - absolute bliss. It was exactly what I needed - connecting with the elements at last.

An evening spent happily cooking and baking, humming away to festive tunes. Happy :)
