Swim meet

I've only been to a few swim meets in my life. My children and grandchildren were more involved in music or running, but now our youngest granddaughter, Emmy has taken an interest in swimming. She started a few years ago with the city summer swim team and now she is in ninth grade, swimming for her high school. She's good too, quite the promising swimmer. She swam in three events tonight, but the picture I decided to post was the ceremony at the beginning of the meet when the athletes of all three teams lined up along the edge of the pool for the national anthem.

Way to go, Em. It was a good meet and very special to be able to watch you swim.
