Louis Lou

Louis is the little blue-hatted blob in the middle of this picture. He wouldn't come down the slide unless Betsy caught him at the bottom, which she was a bit nervous about doing alone, so Nibs helped her. I love the expression on Nibs' face, and the way all you can see of Louis is his woolly hat and a little flailing arm.

When we got to Nibs & Nick's today, Louis came to the door wearing jogging bottoms, a vest, black gloves and a Thomas the Tank Engine back pack, he looked hilarious. Later he had a top on but refused to wear trousers, insisting on wearing only white thermal leggings.

We went to a swing park opposite Plumstead Common, but it was too cold to stay longer than about 20 minutes. We went across to the Common to blow and chase some bubbles, which Louis loved, and was fractionally warmer. Lunch back at the house - turkey. They were expecting 12 people for lunch on Sunday when they got the call to go to Selsey. They were left with an enormous turkey which they had to cook. They will be eating it till Christmas Day when they will be cooking another one for Nick's parents.

Nibs is okay.
