Budapest Day 3

Edinburgh could learn much from the efficient integrated transport system in Budapest. Trams, buses and subway, all operate with a minimal wait at the frequent stops.

This morning his Lordship and I braved the cold and light drizzle to take the no 2 tram along the Danube to the big Central Market to browse the stalls and buy some ornaments for the Christmas tree.

After lunch we took the same tram in the opposite direction to D77' s flat for wine and nibbles before going out for a meal and attending a Carol concert.
