Watergrove

I have photographed this image hundreds of times. It is a place of tranquility in all seasons but at its best in icy stillness. It is also a tragic location, with a constantly renewed and refreshed message in memory of a young local lad who drowned here a few years ago. Today, a heart shaped from purple flowers.

I think of the structure as a bridge to a beautiful nowhere.
