Friday night beer

I like to have a beer on a Friday night to celebrate the end of the working week.

Mo was having a night out meeting up with her work colleagues and was looking to be driven through and taken back. Since we're a 4 car family, it seemed that Nay would be roped in to one of the journeys or maybe both or Mel would bring her back.

Nay ducked out of the outward journey saying he was going to Sumo with his mates so I did the first trip. We zigzagged over all of central Scotland via Larbert, Kincardine, Alloa, Alva, Menstrie, Stirling & Denny & got home 1 and 3/4 hours later. Given where I'd been & the state of the roads, I realized I'd be doing the return run later too.

Nay turned up with his buddies with boxes of continental beer so that pretty much sealed it.

The return trip only took 1 1/2 hours. I reckon I could have got to Manchester more easily 8-(
