This is an old watch of our Dad's that used to belong our Grandfather. Mum said to hang on to it for Joel as he is the oldest grandson.

I have been keeping it in a box but yesterday Tess found it and I realised later she'd been playing with it and I saw that the back had come off. It made me a bit sad that I hadn't noticed and stopped her. But also that the inside is so beautiful and I hadn't seen it before.

It's good to take time to stop and think about the past.
