JP and the Saltire

Workmate JP (aka John-Paul) being a good sport for Scotland.

I've stumbled into a few conversations about the rights or wrongs of a project based on the national flag of a country, and I sense some unease in Scotland and abroad. For what it's worth, I'd be slightly reluctant to take part in a project using the Union Flag because the middle and left of the UK are still trying to wrestle it back from the far- right as an icon. However, the Saltire has never been hijacked in that way, it seems to appear more wrapped around snoozing soccer or rugby fans in bus stations throughout Europe.
