Otter Trail

A glorious day -calm and sunny! I'm recovered now (!) so took a very nice crisp walk. Heard some loons and wanted to blip them but couldn't find them! So instead I watched this river otter swim leisurely across the bay and then climb out by the rocks on the other side and scurry up his well worn trail. River otters make their dens on land (as opposed to sea otters who don't leave the water) and are very playful and love to poop on docks! The poop is full of shells. We know it well. :-)
Getting ready to go back to the city tonight. Happy there is a respite from the storms....
