North London

On a sunny autumn morning, the view from a rooftop in Tottenham Lane, Hornsey. Alexandra Palace to the North West on the left, panning East toward Turnpike Lane and Tottenham.

An early start, stomping around on the roof of a half built loft conversion. I managed to get myself covered in wet paint - not good first thing in the morning!

The rest of the day passed in a blur of paperwork, emails and driving. A huge ammount of the time is spent explaining the way of the world to people who's expectations are hopelessly unrealistic. I often wish common sense was more common!

Having said that - this mornings meeting was with a surveyor who I was expecting to be " a bit agitated" (so I had been told). On the contrary - we got in, did our stomping around, photos and measurements, a nod here a word there and we are going to do a horse deal. Calm as anything, no worries. Apart from the pesky wet paint!

Hope you all had a good day.
