A slice of Lesley's life

Spot the football game

And to think as I walked there and it got gradually darker I was worried I was late and the boys would be hanging around forlornly wondering where I was. Turns out darkness is not an impediment to playing football. Back home now and J is out in the garden with the boy next door playing more football. Almost enough to make me feel sorry for them and sort an outside light. Though they might never come inside again.

And I am in no position to question foolish behaviour today as I have spent most of it painting and moving around furniture despite having pains in my back. But I've started so I'll finish and hopefully by the end of the weekend Anna will have a shiny bedroom. Tomorrow is a day off painting as I head to the blue and yellow mecca in search of a desk. And other bits and bobs - some planned, others less so no doubt. And, of course, some compulsory tealights.
