This handsome woodpecker was foraging in the back garden when we were having breakfast. He was very wary and flew off just after this, so a distant shot taken through window glass was the best I could manage.

Later on we went down to Farnham to see my brother and also meet up with that fine blip-connoisseur of supermarket carparks, Anne Nolan! Then we headed over to Guildford where I was playing at the Music Institute; I'm not sure if a good time was had by all but I certainly enjoyed myself!
