Greens

After I'd picked up the hire car and we'd loaded it up, we called in at the allotment before heading out of town. We offloaded the kitchen compost and D wanted to fill up the bird feeders (he likes to spoil them!). The greens were looking nice (mostly kale and purple sprouting broccoli with a few little oriental greens coming up ) although I note that the grass is looking altogether too healthy. Oh, and two kinds of artichoke in the background...

After an uneventful drive of 8 or 9 hours we arrived at B and F's house where they fed and watered us most kindly.
