Encore! (in a new form...)

Yesterday's Carmelized Onion Bread was so good that when I came downstairs this morning, thinking a slice of toast would be yummy, I discovered only a tiny sliver of bread left!

I made breakfast for everyone, then settled on thinking what to make for lunch. Husband and Son are hard at work outside, building, so they need something hearty. Hmm...

I pulled some ground beef from the freezer and thought hamburgers are always good. The only problem was, there were no hamburger rolls. Argh.

Then, the lightbulb went off!

I pulled out the ingredients and began another round (haha...pun intended!) of the savory bread. Once I had proofed it, I decided to try something different! Instead of making a big round loaf, I cut the dough into twelve pieces.

The end result was a dozen delicious hamburger rolls! I was so happy! When Husband and the kids sat down, I knew they would give a serious critique. The result? Another thumbs up!
