Happiness tea - or so I was told

A hibiscus, cardaomon and rosemary infusion is a combination which I enjoy now and again. I like the pretty ruby red colour and the slightly sharp, dry flavour rounded out by the spice and herb.

Hibiscus is said to be high in vitamin C, and helpful in lowering high blood pressure and cholesterol levels.I didn't really understand why the person who suggested this had named it 'happiness' until I investigated hibiscus a bit more. Apparently, the tea can, in some people, produce an intoxicating or hallucinogenic effect.

I can't say I've ever felt giddy on this - but if you're going to try, best not to overdo it!
