..and the hedge looked back

I spend a lot of my lunchtime walks with my eyes in the hedgerows looking for insects, plants etc....today, the hedge was looking back!

Rain scuppered any chances of a longer walk. It kept getting worse as I headed away from work but every time I decided to head back, it declined to a drizzle. Lots of muddy paths too.

Long chat with son number one tonight about one of his essays and other bits. We don't hear from him much, but when we do it makes me realise how much I miss him!
